Central Fine Arts Academy

Central Fine Arts Academy is one of Duncanville's most historic campuses. The building first opened in 1929 as Duncanville High School, becoming the district's first brick high school and home to the community's earliest generations of Panthers. The Class of 1936, Duncanville's first accredited graduating class, walked its halls before the high school relocated to what is now Reed Middle School in 1954. The campus was later transformed into Central Elementary School, where it continued its legacy by educating generations of Duncanville students. Today, the historic building stands as a lasting symbol of the district's rich educational heritage, connecting nearly a century of Panther pride with the future of Duncanville ISD in the newly renovated academy campus.
